In I985, former military ruler, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, kicked Buhari out of office through military coup d'etat and former National Security Adviser to ex president, Goodluck Jonathan, Sambo Dasuki immediately placed Buhari in chains, at that time Nigerians were celebrating the Muslim festival and enjoying the public holidays.

Sambo Dasuki, led a team of four policemen which include, Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu, and arrested Buhari in August 26th 1985.

Buhari was arrested and his government toppled, IBB, through the help of Dasuki, threw Buhari into prison custody. Dasuki was then made the ADC (aide-de-camp). to Babangida.

Buhari spent two years in jail and this wrecked his love life with Safinatu. Buhari and Hajia Safinatu got married in 1971 and they have five children, 4 girls and a boy. Unconfirmed reports have it that upon Buhari's release, Safinatu divorced Buhari as she was reported to have been devastated over Buhari's arrest.

Safinatu served as First Lady of Nigeria from December 1983 to August 1985. She reportedly divorced Buhari in 1988 which led to Buhari's marriage with Aisha in 1989.

However, Hajia Safinatu is no more, She died in 2006 from complications from diabetes.

 

Sambo Dasuki is  now being prosecuted by Muhammadu Buhari over alleged fraud and embezzlement of funds meant for procurement of arms during the last administration which is in the tune of $2.1 billion.

A human rights group has threatened to drag revered priest, Father Mbaka before Pope Francis over prophesy on Buhari.

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, a pro-Democracy non-governmental organisation, has dismissed Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka’s prophesy of an assassination attempt on President Muhammadu Buhari by corrupt politicians, stressing that the prophesy was sensational and rumour peddling.

Accoring to Daily Post, the group who described the prophesy as a “delusional fantasy” vowed to drag Mbaka to pope Francis if the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria fails to reprimand him and stop him from associating actively and notoriously with politicians at both national and regional levels within the next 21 days

Mbaka, the Head of the Adoration Ministries, based in Enugu State, had in his New Year message said some corrupt politicians were out to assassinate Buhari.

But HURIWA in a statement jointly signed by the National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, and the National Media Affairs Director, Zainab Yusuf, urged the Nigerian Catholic hierarchy to sanction Mbaka for abandoning his sacred duty and delving into politics while hiding under the canopy of his Catholic’s Priestly vocation.

HURIWA while accusing Mbaka of engaging in cheap and childish rumour mongering, enjoined the leadership of the Catholic Church to call him to order because he has become a political loose cannon who cannot separate sermons from partisan politics.

The group noted that Mbaka’s prophesy lacks scientific and empirical evidence and smacks of sensationalism and therefore qualifies as an unmitigated emotional fallacy and a misdirected outburst, which should be disregarded.

The statement said, “Fr Mbaka is putting his priestly calling and office to the pecuniary services of the All Progressives Congress of President Buhari because it is barely two weeks he was photographed smiling with his Political host in the Presidential mansion President Muhammadu Buhari that he emerged from his delusional hibernation to manufacture cock-and -bull story about some plots to assassinate Mr President by corrupt politicians.

“Is Fr Mbaka a judge who has passed presiding over cases of alleged graft involving any immediate past political office holder and adjudged them guilty of corrupt practices? Is Fr Mbaka unaware that as the Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces that President Muhammadu Buhari is the most protected citizen in Nigeria now with hundreds of well armed and highly trained professional guards drawn from the Nigerian Military and the Secret Police headed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Kinsman?
“Is Fr Mbaka unaware that Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari is waging a counter terror war and that the armed Islamists have vowed in several media recordings to kill not just the Commander in chief but officials of government? This MBAKA’S whitewash must be consigned to the dustbins without further delay.”

A pedophile has hit the headlines in the Eastern part of Nigeria after his serial sexual abuse of female minors was exposed by his numerous victims.

Residents of a building located at Onueke Town, Ebonyi State have been gripped by shock at the discovery of the fact that a horny man, Mr Nwoja living in the compound has been s*xually abusing their underage female children over time according to the New Telegraph.

 

The unsuspecting neighbours didn’t know his true nature until one of their children started having pains inside her private part. The girl’s parents almost collapsed in shock when the child revealed that Nwoja had serially r*ped her. The man didn’t just insert his fingers into the girls’ private parts, he also inserted his manhood. His wife was said to have travelled to the village since the news of the incident broke out.

Other parents quickly rallied round, comforting the mother of the girl and dishing out advice. Their good advice however ceased in shock after more kids in the compound revealed that the man r*ped them too.

 

When the victims were counted, they were about nine girls. While mothers took to crying, fathers sharpened their swords. Others tried to calm frayed nerves. Seething fathers were finally persuaded to take the matter to the police. What makes a man to resort to defiling nine female children?

This was the question on the lips of the people of Onueke Town and the entire people of Ebonyi State. Nwoja, a father of three, in his forties, is now being described by his once loving neighbours as someone that couldn’t be trusted, especially where female kids were concerned.

Nwoja, a cab driver, was accused of defiling nine children between ages six and 10. He was alleged to have been defiling the girls for long without anybody being aware. One of the affected children is said to have contracted infection following the defilement. Trouble started after one of the mothers noticed her little girl was experiencing pains in her private part, apparently due to injuries sustained during penile penetration.

One of the victims, Precious (surname withheld), a 10-year-old, said Nwoja had had s*x with her about five times, adding that he usually does it in secluded areas, including inside his car.

 

Precious further said: “Sometimes, I would be in a deep sleep, he would come and carry me to a corner in the yard and do it. Last time, he carried me while I was sleeping in the house and took me to the bush, at the back of our yard. He asked me to pull off my clothes. When I refused, he torn them off, removed his own clothes and r*ped me.

I think he just loved me from the beginning. And I grew into loving him as well. He didn't just propose to me at the first meeting. We dated for a while before we married."

See Photos of Skeleton of Notorious Pirate Found Buried Beneath School Playground

The skeletal remains of a man alleged to be a pirate executed in the 16th century and buried under a primary school playground may be the remains of a 16th century pirate .

It is believed that the skeleton belongs to a man who could have been executed for piracy or other crimes before being buried in a shallow, unmarked grave.

 

The bones were found by council workers during survey work for an extension at Victoria Primary School in Newhaven, Edinburgh.

Experts dated the bones to the 16th or 17th centuries and, working with forensic artist Hayley Fisher, created a facial reconstruction of the man, thought to have been in his fifties.

 

The school, the city’s oldest working primary, is located near Newhaven harbour where a gibbet once stood on the dockyards 600 years ago.

 

 

It is believed that the man could have been executed for piracy or other crimes before being buried in a shallow, unmarked grave.

 

 

Archaeologists said the condition of the bones and location of the burial close to the sea and gibbet, rather than at one of three nearby graveyards suggests the man was killed before being displayed as a warning to other pirates.

 

Head teacher, Laura Thompson, of Victoria Primary School in Newhaven, Edinburgh where a skeleton was found, said:“The pupils think it’s fantastic that a skeleton was found deep underneath their playground.

 

“The archaeologists will hold a special lesson with some of the children about how they have used science to analyse the remains and it will be a good learning opportunity for them.”

How Two Were Killed from Accident Allegedly Caused by Lagos Policemen Extorting Money

Policemen in Lagos have caused an accident while trying to extort money from commercial tricycle riders and it can resulted in the death of two persons.

About two persons were reported dead on Saturday, while others sustained injuries after a Sports Utility Vehicle, SUV, rammed into a tricycle at the Iyana School bus stop in the Igando area of Lagos State.

According to DailyPost, the SUV hit a commercial bus which in turn crashed into another tricycle. Among the two persons killed, was the driver of the SUV who died on the spot. The other victims, including a pregnant woman, were said to have been rushed to a hospital.

The accident, which occurred at about 5pm on Saturday, was said to have happened while policemen from the Igando division stopped the tricycle driver and were allegedly extorting money from him.

The SUV, which was speeding, hit the tricycle and also hit a commercial bus damaging the screens. The bus was said to have hit another tricycle, killing the rider.

Policemen from the Igando division reportedly took the corpses to a morgue while the other injured persons were rushed to the Igando General Hospital.

According to a motorist, who simply identified himself as Emmanuel, it was the third accident at the bus stop in the week. Emmanuel alleged that the accident was caused by some policemen who were searching tricycles at the junction to collect money.

The policemen according to Emmanuel normally extort money from the drivers. Speaking with Punch, Emmanuel said:

 

“So, they stopped the tricycle, and were in the process of extorting money from him when the incident occurred. An SUV rammed into the tricycle and a commercial bus. The bus in turn hit another tricycle, killing the driver.

“The accident caused gridlock in the area as rescuers tried to pull out victims who were trapped in the bus. On the spot, we saw two corpses including the tricycle driver. This would be the third accident at the bus stop this week due to the police’s overbearing attitude.”
