Pastor in Trouble After Car Dealer Used Stolen Car to Sow Seed (Photo)

A Reverend father has found himself in trouble after he was arrested by the police who recovered a stolen car given to him by his church member.
Suspects paraded by the police

The Presbyterian Reverend of Ameke-Abam in Arochukwu, Titus Onwuchekwa who collected a stolen car used in sowing seed is singing in police cell after he was paraded alongside five suspects for armed robbery at the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja.

The shocked pastor revealed that a car dealer used the stolen car to sow a seed into his life and that he had no knowledge that the car was stolen.

According to Rev. Titus Onwuchekwa, “I am a clergy man. I bought an SUV from one Felix when he came for a programme in Lagos sometime in November. I actually saw the vehicle at Alaba, where it was advertised for sale. While negotiating with the owner of the vehicle, I told him that I was a man of God and he said that he would use the vehicle to sow a seed into my life. He said because I was a man of God, he would sell the vehicle, a Mitsubishi Pajero jeep to me for N500,000. I paid him N350,000, and I later balanced him N150,000. He said I should pray that God should bless him with more children because he had only had one child since he married.

“I never knew the car was stolen. I don’t know anything about the other Infiniti jeep that he sold. He gave me the car documents which bore his name; he also gave me the custom clearing documents, and they had the same name too. A soldier friend of mine had to help me verify if the car was genuine and he confirmed that it was. I am a man of God and I will never buy a stolen property.”

The other suspects who were paraded alongside Rev Titus included Opeyemi Aregbesola, 28; Bola Salami, 30; Osas Felix Bright, 32; Chibike Umeh, 22; and Ndibe Samuel, 31.

According to Vanguard, It was learnt that upon the arrest of two notorious armed robbery kingpins, Opeyemi Aregbesola and Bola Salami who had been on the wanted list of Special Anti-Robbery Squad for snatching exotic vehicles, the operatives recovered a Toyota Camry 2007 model with registration number MUS782DD.

While parading the suspects, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Owoseni, said that, “During interrogation, the duo confessed to have stolen a series of cars at gunpoint. Their confession led to the arrest of one Osas Felix Bright and Chibuike Umeh at their hideout at Oko Igbede, Alaba International Market. The two suspects also confessed to have received many stolen vehicles from the gang and sold them at give-away prices to their customers at Onitsha, Anambra State and Abia State.”

Also the police recovered six vehicles including one unregistered Toyota 4 Runner jeep, two Toyota Camry cars with registration number AAA391AA, and FKJ441DV, two Lexus jeeps with registration numbers HAL100RF and LSR520DA, a Toyota Highlander with registration number LSR492DX, and a Mitsubishi Pajero jeep with registration number SMK484DS.

It was gathered that Osa Felix Bright and Chibike Umeh specialised in receiving stolen cars from armed robbery gangs, changing the colour and re-registering the cars with forged custom duty documents before selling the vehicles.

Also, another suspect Ndibe Samuel, a medicine dealer,  revealed how he bought one of the stolen cars from his in-law. He said: “I bought a Toyota Camry for N700,000 last September, 2015. I was in my shop when he actually called me to come and see him, that he had a message for me. I was arrested by the police on my way to see him. They said the vehicle that I bought was a stolen vehicle.”

For Osas Felix, one of the suspect said there was no need to deny: “I sell vehicles at Berger Yard. A friend brought the vehicle for to me to help him sell. I have known him for over a year. I knew it was a stolen vehicle. I bought the vehicle for N300,000 from him, registered it with my name and then sold it to the pastor.”

However, Opeyemi Aregbesola confessed that he has been stealing and selling cars for a long time now: “I usually sell stolen vehicles to Osas Felix. So far I have sold about seven vehicles to him.” he confessed.

Investigations are still ongoing and efforts are on to apprehend other fleeing members of the gang who specialise in forging documents for the gang. The suspects will soon be charged to court.

Drama as 15-Year-Old Boy is Caught Having S*x With Sheep In Anambra (Photo)

In this shocking confession, a 15-year-old boy has narrated how he raped a sheep as he admits he only enjoys having sex with animals.
Miracle Oluebube Nweke and the sheep he was raping

Master Miracle Oluebube Nweke is a 15- year old boy and member of Assemblies of God Church in Nnewichi-Nnewi, Anambra state. But he is a self-confessed deviant who enjoys having sex only with sheep.

He was recently caught in the act, last Monday, by a friend who raised alarm leading to his arrest and confession of his past escapades.

He confessed that he only enjoys having sex with animals. The teenage boy, a native of Eziagu in Enugu state, last Monday confessed that he had been engaging in sodomy for a while but was never caught. He said he knew that it was not normal but that he could not help himself. He said anytime he had urge, a strange voice would lead him to where he would get a tethered sheep which he would loose and drag to an uncompleted building to have sex with it.

According to Authority, Miracle explained that on sighting any sheep, he would engage, first, in sexual fixation otherwise called zoophilia before graduating to raping it otherwise called bestiality or sodomy.

He was in the middle of the act this week in the South East when his friend cut his fun short and raised the alarm which made the vigilante operatives to go after him and arrested him.

Master Miracle was, specifically, arrested on Monday, January 18, this week by the Edoji, Uruagu-Nnewi vigilante group after which he was subjected to a round of investigation. The boy narrates: “I am the first of seven male children of my parents, I dropped out of school after my primary 6. I then started learning painting. But, that too is not going well.
“My father, Mr Sunday Nweke, is a trader at fairly Used Market, Mgbuka in Nnewi while my mother, Mrs Ndide Nweke sells banana and groundnut in our neighborhood.
“Whenever I get any sheep of my choice, I untie it from the spot where the owner has left it and take the sheep to a secluded uncompleted building and have sex with it.
“I don’t do anything else with the sheep than that. I normally make sure that no one is around watching while doing it because I know that the owners of the sheep may not like it.
“But it gives me great pleasure whenever I have sex with sheep. I have never tried any other kind of animal to know the difference. My experience of having sex with sheep is sweet.”

“The last time, our landlady accused me of stealing her money when she actually securely locked her doors and windows. How could I have entered her house?
“But I know she was just trying to eject my parents after the news got to her that I usually sleep with sheep which she considered atrocious. I don’t steal and I don’t molest children. I am not a criminal.
“This is not the first time I did it. Nobody would have known that I am into that if not that one of my friends, Dede, saw me this time around and raised the alarm and these people started pursuing me with their gun and I had to stop running because I did not want them to shoot me. If not they wouldn’t have caught me.”
“There is a spirit that normally tells me to go and look for sheep and whenever I hear the commanding voice of the spirit, it becomes irresistible for me to take away my eyes from sheep.
“I will be so restless and confused until after I have carried out the instruction of the

unseen spirit,” he narrated.

There was drama when the owner of the sheep who identified himself simply as Mr Uche from Nkpoka, Nnewichi-Nnewi told the vigilante operatives that he would not go home with the sheep again.

He demanded that the teenager who defiled his sheep must buy it. Uche argued that it would be misleading for anyone to think that the sheep is still normal after its encounter with Miracle.

The best thing is to sell this sheep and its small baby to Miracle so that he can do whatever he wants with it. I cannot take them home again after their experience in his hand.

“I will only be deceiving myself if I believe my sheep is still normal. If I take them home and they start biting people, what would I do?

“Again, if the sheep later gives birth to a half man and half animal, what do you want me to tell the world?” Uche queried.

The vigilante operative, Okeke, when asked on what becomes of the arrested boy, said that he would be released to his parents after they have made adequate payment for the sheep that was raped by their son, noting that the 15-year old boy would not be handed over to the police.

“You will agree with me that this is not a criminal case and I don’t think it is necessary to start wasting our time and that of the police by taking this boy to the station.

“We will release him to his parents so that they can go and find spiritual solutions to his problems. This is more of a spiritual case than security matter.”

Bestiality is not a new thing in this clime, so many people have been caught in the act and appropriate sanctions imposed on them. Most are handed over to the police for prosecution. However, the case of Oluebube is still generating controversy as many are of the view that the minor should be handed over to the police for prosecution.

Wow! See How South African Gov't Plans to Honour Girls Who Graduate From University as Virgins

The government of South Africa has found a new way to encourage their female daughters to maintain their virginity while in the university using this interesting package.

A South African region on Friday said it had launched a new grant scheme for girls who remain virgins throughout the course of their university studies, triggering outrage among rights groups.

The bursary offered in Uthukela, in the southeast of the country near Durban city, is the brainchild of  municipality’s female mayor Dudu Mazibujo. News of the grant scheme sent shockwaves among civil society groups, with one women’s association branding it unconstitutional.

“The bursaries are for young girls who are still virgins,” municipality spokesman Jabulani Mkhonza told AFP.

“It’s a new category which the mayor has introduced this year,” he said, adding that the goal is to encourage “young girls to keep themselves pure and inactive from sexual activity and focus on their studies.”

Beneficiaries of the grant will be subjected to regular virginity tests, he added.

“Those children who have been awarded bursaries will be checked whenever they come back for holidays. The bursary will be taken away if they lose their virginity,” said Mkhonza.

The People Opposing Women Abuse (POWA) group, said it was shocked that taxpayers’ money was being used to violate girls’ rights.

“POWA is shocked to hear that young girls are being tested for virginity in order to get bursaries… it’s a violation of their rights,” the group’s executive director Nonhlanhla Mokwena told AFP.

“That is taxpayers’ money that is being used to violate girls… (and) the constitution of this country.”

Many South Africans from poor backgrounds rely on government grants to get through university. Planned university fee hikes last year provoked sometimes violent protests nationwide.

This is the controversial ad by Chicken Republic

Many people have reacted angrily to the mock advert by a leading Nigerian fast food joint who used the trial of Olisa Metuh by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for its publicity stunt.

Writing on its official twitter handle, Chicken republic tweeted an ad on their official twitter page; “Why eat your words when you can eat our meals” and “Special delivery for Olisa” with an EFCC logo on the ad.

The ad was making mockery of Metuh who was alleged to have torn and swallowed his own statement made to the EFCC. However, he denied ever doing such a thing.

Many Nigerians took to twitter to express shock and disgust at how Chicken Republic could use such opportunity to taunt a man under trial.

Here is how people reacted:

FG Sacks Top Civil Servants Over Employment Racketeering - Minister

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has disclosed that the federal government has meted out punishment to top civil servants over job employment scam.
Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed

Some top officials of the Civil Service have been dismissed by the Federal Government for extorting money from 400 applicants and offering them employment illegally.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the disclosure on Saturday in Lagos during a meeting with some selected On-Air-Personalities.

The meeting was part of the minister`s five-day consultations with critical stakeholders in the media industry. Mohammed said that the affected officers were on Grade Level 17 in one of the parastatals in the ministry.

He said that the officers had included the names of the applicants in the Integrated Payroll and Personnel System (IPPIS) before the fraud was discovered.

“The first scandal I met in one of the parastatals when I assumed office was the illegal employment of 400 people.

“This scandal started with very senior officers up to level 17 in that department.

“They sent out letters and text messages asking people to apply for jobs for a fee of N400, 000 and they were given letters of employment.

“They did not stop there. They invited these people to go and be captured on the IPPIS and they even took cameras to hotels to get them captured. At the end of the day the bubble burst.

“One of the victims told these officials, you cannot take my money and still disengage me. I have a valid letter.

“That is how we got to know that there is a dedicated account these people pay to.

“Of course, we dismissed these officials and we even handed them over to the Police“ the minster said.

Mohammed said that the incident showed how faulty the IPPIS was and how it had been compromised by unscrupulous elements. He said that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was doing all it could to make the IPPIS tamper-proof and guide it from people who might want to load ghost workers on it.

He described On-Air Personalities as “very important’’ in the media industry and urged them to leverage on their platforms to educate the people on government`s policies. The minister said the current war against corruption was a war of survival for the nation and urged all Nigerians to give it the necessary support.

Corruption: Buhari Goes Tough on Public Officers, Insists on Mandatory Asset Declaration

President Muhammadu Buhari has taken the anti-corruption war to the public sector as he goes after public office holders who refuse to declare their assets.

President Muhammadu Buhari

There are strong indications that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has directed all Federal Government ministries, departments and agencies to ensure that their members of staff comply with the law on asset declaration, Punch reports.

According to information gathered, Buhari has made it clear through a presidential directive that all public office holders must declare their assets. It is believed this new measure will go a long way in tackling the issue of corruption in government.

Findings showed that the order must have informed the directive by the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Customs Service that their officers should declare their assets.

A senior government official has revealed that the government would not only ensure that public office holders declared their assets, but also made it clear that anti-graft agencies would monitor their incomes and the wealth they had acquired.

He added that the law on asset declaration does not only apply to politicians holding public offices, but also civil servants.

The source said, “The government has directed that all public officers must declare their assets. Some people wrongly believe that asset declaration only applies to politicians. Civil servants are also required to declare their assets; that is what the law says. But the law does not require them to make public assets they have declared.

“There are many civil servants with many mansions in Abuja. Anti-graft agencies will now be matching their incomes with their wealth.”

Taking the lead in the process, the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka, had, in a statement on Thursday, said that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt- Gen. Tukur Buratai, had directed all officers of the Nigerian Army to declare their assets.

He added that Buratai had declared his assets on his appointment as Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force in May 2015 and when he was appointed as Chief of Army Staff in July 2015.

Kukasheka had said, “This directive is in order, considering the fact that all military officers are having Presidential Commission and are public servants, as well as subject to both civil and military laws. In addition, given the current drive of the country for probity and accountability, the Nigerian Army should not only key in but should be one of the key drivers for such a laudable project.”

However, the Chairman, Code of Conduct Bureau, Mr. Sam Saba has revealed that some of the military personnel have refused to declare their assets.

He had stated, “Some of the military personnel declare but most of them are not declaring (theirs). They used to declare (their assets) in the early 90s but somehow, they just stopped. Only some of them who are service chiefs declare, but the remaining ones do not fill the forms.”

The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (retd.), had on January 15, directed all officers of the service to declare their assets within two weeks. The Nigeria Immigration Service on its part, had on Thursday, said that its personnel had taken asset declaration seriously.

The NIS Public Relations Officer, Ekpedeme King, has said all its officers will comply with the directive.

He said, “We don’t need to issue fresh directives to our personnel to declare their assets because they have been doing that periodically. This is in line with the Code of Conduct for public officials and it is compulsory for all revenue generating agencies of the government.”

It has been revealed that the Nigeria Police Force has yet to respond to inquiries about asset declaration by its personnel, a code of conduct requirement for public officials.

According to Punch, the authorities of the military and the Nigeria Customs Service had directed their personnel to declare their assets as part of efforts to sanitise the polity and as required by law. But, the Nigerian Police seems not to care.

N13bn Land Fraud: Bayelsa APC Elders Advises Tompolo on EFCC Case

The Bayelsa state chapter of the All Progressives Congress has advised Niger Delta militant leader, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo on what to do concerning the N13bn Land Fraud case.
Niger Delta militant leader, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo

Elders in Bayelsa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress have added their voice to the ongoing controversy between the Niger Delta militant leader, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission as they've advised him to  surrender himself for questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over N13bn fraud.

According to Punch, they also demanded an apology from the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Mr. Timi Frank, over his comments against the party leadership in the State “in his own interest.

It would be recalled that Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court in Abuja had granted an order compelling Tompolo to answer an amended 40 counts of conspiracy, fraud and money laundering levelled against him and a former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Patrick Akpobolokemi.

However, Tompolo in a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, accused the candidate of the APC in the Bayelsa State governorship election, Timipre Sylva, of trying to link him to the renewed vandalism of oil facilities in the Niger Delta region,  saying he (Sylva) was the one responsible.

But a member of the Bayelsa APC Elders, Chief Arerebo Bodi, at a reception organised in his honour on Saturday in Abuja, said it was important for Tompolo to honour the request of the EFCC, rather than blame Sylva and other APC leaders in the State.
