Pro-Biafra Militants Free Hijacked Ship, Hold 5 Crew Members Hostage

Reports reaching us reveal some unidentified sympathizers of the Biafran separatist movement who hijacked a vessel has freed it taking 5 key officials hostage.

The navy of Benin is guarding a Greek-owned oil tanker hijacked by Nigerian militants who are holding five crew members hostage in Nigeria, a Nigerian agency that issues government statements and a shipping security expert said Wednesday, according to Today News.

The Liberian-flagged MT Leon Dias is anchored off Cotonou, Benin’s commercial capital, PR Nigeria agency reported. It gave no other details and no news of the crew and hijackers.

The hijackers disembarked from the vessel on Sunday and took five hostages with them - the captain, chief engineer, third engineer, the electrician and a fitter, said Dirk Steffen, maritime security director of Denmark-based Risk Intelligence. The ship then sailed to Cotonou, he told The Associated Press.

Owner Leon Shipping and Trading in Athens did not answer requests for comment.

Earlier Nigerian officers said the vessel was hijacked Friday by separatists threatening to blow it up with its crew unless officials release Nnamdi Kanu, the director of the banned Radio Biafra who is accused of terrorism.

Makers of Mindblowing S*x Robot with Virtual V*gina Swamped with Orders (Photo)

A adult virtual game company planning to release world's first interactive adult virtual game which provides mind-blowing pleasure to players have been forced to pull out of the market after it was swamped by too many orders.

The manufacturers of a pioneering video game controller that doubles as a virtual reality male sex toy have pulled it off the market after being swamped by demands.

VirtuaDolls is a system which allows hi-tech heavy breathers to strap on a VR helmet, sleep with simulated women and be pleasured by a device which responds to on-screen eroticism.

This could, for instance, allow gamers to watch a cyber-siren twerking whilst the silicon sex toy pulsates in time with her every gyration. So many men rushed to pre-order this device on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo that its designers were forced to "put the project on hold". In a series of tweets, the firm behind Virtuadolls admitted demand for their virtual vagina had been enormous.

Designed by the American company Eos, the VirtualDolls device is a "controller" which looks like a creepy silicon simulation of a woman's safe space.

It invites "players" to get involved in sex games, where they carry out missions and are rewarded with a ending which is best described as "happy".

VirtuaDolls ships with a title called Girls of Arcadia (pictured below) in which gamers have to save a damsel in distress.

If players can't be bothered rescuing the woman, they can just jump to "sim mode" in which they simply choose a woman and sex begins before the first date is even mooted, let alone completed.

William Spracklin, Eos founder, said the gizmo was an"adult game controller where touch and feedback are taken to the next level".

His Indiegogo campaign raised $7,000 out of its $20,000 goal in just five days. In a promotional video backed by Beverly Hills Cop-style synth-pop music, the firm responsible for VirtuaDolls said it would "take adult gaming to the next level".

It is designed to have "several innovative features which create a mindblowing experience". These include a "programmable pressure gripper", which can vary the tightness of its squeeze and a "stroke motion" with variable speed.

It uses sensors to detect the power of a man's thrusts, which can then be used to control the onscreen action. The device can be used along with VR helmets including the Oculus Rift.

However, it his promo video, Spracklin hinted that he didn't currently have the right members of staff to "help create an amazing experience", which could be why the product's crowdfunding campaign has been postponed.

On Reddit, one user had the following warning for anyone who was considering buying a VirtuaDoll.

"Sometime in the future some teen is going to be using this thing in conjunction with headphones and a VR headset," he predicted.

"His mother is going to walk into the room and he's going to have no idea she's even there.

"She might not interrupt and he might be coming down for dinner none the wiser."

Pope Francis Comes Under Intense Fire Over China Comments

The highly revered Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, has come under intense criticism over his comments about China.

Pope Francis

Pope Francis came under fire Wednesday after lavishing praise on China in a move widely seen as part of Vatican moves to improve relations with Beijing.

Close watchers of the Holy Father were taken by surprise by the content of an interview with the Asia Times in which the Argentinian pontiff said the world need not fear China’s growing power and avoided any mention of human rights or the restrictions on Catholics and other Christians’ freedom of worship in the world’s most populous nation.

Sandro Magister, one of Italy’s leading Vatican experts who was a major critic of the Pope's comments, gave this verdit: This is “A superb example of Realpolitik pushed to the extreme,”

Writing on his blog for Italian weekly L’Espresso, Magister lamented Francis’s “total silence” on questions of religion and freedom and what he interpreted as an “unrestrained absolution” of the Chinese communist regime’s historical record.

In the interview, Pope Francis said China had always been, for him, a “reference point of greatness” and “a great culture, with an inexhaustible wisdom.”

The Argentinian pope made only the lightest of allusions to China’s troubled recent history, saying a people sometimes“makes a mistake and goes backwards a little, or takes the wrong path and has to retrace its steps to follow the right way.”

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said the pope’s remarks had been noted. “We also hope that the Vatican can take a flexible, pragmatic attitude to creating conditions for improving ties,” he said.

The Vatican has not had diplomatic relations with China since 1951, with the rupture having come only two years after the founding of the People’s Republic.

#DasukiGate: Thisday Publisher, Obaigbena Returns Staggering Amount of Money...See Details

Mr. Nduka Obaigbena who was indicted in the arms deal scam of embattled former NSA, Sambo Dasuki has made a huge refund of the slush fund to the anti-graft agency.
Mr. Nduka Obaigbena

There are indications that the Publisher of ThisDay Newspaper, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, has returned the sum of N350m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, according to the Punch.

A top operative of the commission, who confided in a correspondent on Wednesday, said Obaigbena returned the money to the commission on Tuesday.

The operative said Obaigbena was expected to pay an outstanding N200m next week. The Special Task Force of the EFCC, investigating the issue of arms procurement under the Goodluck Jonathan administration, had quizzed Obaigbena on January 29, 2016 for allegedly receiving N670m from the immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.).

The commission released him 24 hours after he had agreed to sign an undertaking to make a refund of the money in two weeks. The 14-day period of grace, given to the ThisDay Publisher to repay the money he collected from Dasuki’s office expires on Tuesday next week.

“The Publisher of ThisDay Newspaper, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, has returned N350m out of the N670m he received from the ONSA,”
the source in the anti-graft agency told one of our correspondents on Wednesday.

“The Publisher is expected to return the rest N200m next week. You know that he signed an undertaking to return the money before they released him. That undertaking expires on Tuesday next week.’’

Obaigbena had admitted receiving N670m from the ONSA in a response to the EFCC last month.

He explained that N120m of the money was given to the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria as compensation for losses incurred during the military clampdown on newspaper houses in 2015.
