An angry husband attacked his wife after he caught his wife with a policeman in their matrimonial bed.
A man identified as Stephen Omondi was left devastated after
catching his wife sleeping with a police officer in his matrimonial
home.
The man who is a butcher in the fit of anger, then tried to stab
his wife with a broken bottle for betraying him. The incident happened
in Kenya.
According to The Nairobian, the 40-year-old butcher at Nairobi’s
popular Burma Market could not identify the officer who was dressed in
jungle fatigue, because he escaped through the back door.
It was gathered that trouble started when Omondi came back home
and asked Adhiambo his wife to open the door Adhiambo delayed in opening
it. He started banging on the door trying to force it open.
In the ensuing drama, the man inside escaped through the back door.
An angry Omondi later confronted the wife and threatened to stab her to
death before Adhiambo raised alarm as neighbours came to her aid and
disarmed him before police arrived.
In court, Omondi claimed: “My wife has been sleeping with the
police officer and I busted her that day. It is painful for another man
to sleep in your matrimonial bed”.
The wife didn't deny the claim but she gave her reasons. She said: “He
is my former husband and he has been giving me sleepless nights. He
does not pay school fees for our children and spends all the money he
gets feasting on roast meat.”
