One of Nigeria's foremost comedians, Bovi, who said a final goodbye to his mother as she was finally buried has hosted Governor Ayo Fayose in his Lagos home and exposed a fraudster who impersonated APC Leader.

 

Nigerian comedian, actor, and writer, Bovi Ugboma, popularly known by his stage name as, Bovi, who recently buried his late mother in Delta State, has hosted Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, who paid him a condolence visit in his Lagos home.

 

The comic MC who has organized popular stand-up comedy concerts like 'Bovi Man On Fire' across the globe, also took to his Instagram to expose a fraudster who impersonated APC leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, and attempted to defraud him.

Man City to Face PSG as Barcelona are Paired with Atletico - UEFA Champions League Draw in Full

UEFA Champions League draw: Manchester City face PSG in quarter-finals while Barcelona will play Atletico Madrid.

 

After reaching their first ever Champions League quarter-final, Manchester City were drawn against Ligue 1 holders and Chelsea conquerors  Paris Saint-Germain.

 

There will be an all-Spanish tie between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid while Real Madrid will play Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. While Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich will play Benfica in the other last eight game.

 

Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City who secured passage to the quarter-finals for the first time since first qualifying for the competition in 2011, will face Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his PSG side who defeated Chelsea in the previous round, and will be looking to repeat the feat against English opposition once more. 

 

Defending champions, Barcelona face a tough task against Atletico Madrid. Luis Enrique's side have beaten their La Liga rivals twice already this season with the Catalan giants winning 2-1 on both occasions.

 

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were handed kinder draws with Zinedine Zidane's side facing Wolfsburg, who beat Manchester United in the group stage in December.

 

Bayern Munich came through a sensational two-legged tie against Serie A league leaders Juventus 6-4 on aggregate. They face Portuguese side Benifca, who beat Zenit St Petersburg 3-1 on aggregate.

Woman Abandons Her 7-year-old Daughter at Home Overnight to Pleasure Herself With Lover

A woman is questioned on why she left her young daughter home alone and traveled several miles away to have intimate relations with her boyfriend.

The heartless mum locked her seven-year-old daughter in the house overnight with just juice and cake while she had sex with her boyfriend 100 miles away.

 

However has been spared jail.

 

The 31-year-old woman, who cannot be named, left the youngster by herself on two separate weekends after telling the girl she was going "a long way away".

 

She told her daughter not to touch the computer or anything dangerous before locking her in the flat in Leicester, England.

 

The irresponsible mum then traveled to visit her partner in London for her own "sexual gratification." 

 

She was only caught after concerned neighbours alerted the police, who broke into the property to rescue the child.

 

On Thursday, the woman admitted four counts of child cruelty by neglect when the youngster was aged between six and seven.

 

But she was spared prison after the judge heard she had given birth to her fourth child and was breastfeeding the tot.

BREAKING News: Gov. Okorocha Sacks Imo State SSG

The executive Governor of Imo state, Rochas Ewele Okorocha has parted ways with his SSG for undisclosed reasons.

The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has sacked the Secretary to the state government, Mr. Jude Ejiogu, according to Channels Television.

This decision was made known in a letter made available to the Imo State broadcast outfit signed by the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Pascal Obi.

Governor Okorocha thanked the former SSG for his contributions to the development of the state as an appointee under the Okorocha-led administration. He also prayed for success and God’s guidance in all his future endeavours.

As at the time of filing this report, no reason has been given by the state government for the action.

Before his appointment as the Secretary to the Government of Imo State in 2015, Mr Jude Ejiogu had taken positions as Chief of Staff to the Imo State Governor, Special Adviser to the Governor on IGR, Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission and Commissioner for Special Duties.

A man has been caught wearing army uniform and parading himself as a soldier in Rivers State. He was caught at Emohua Local Government Area in Rivers State. 

 

This is coming just days to the scheduled Rivers re-run election on Saturday and already, many people have lost their lives including 4 army officers this week. 

 

A man was beheaded and another kidnapped by unknown gunmen which has led to serious chaos between the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. 

 

It is believed he is a political thug and among the people killing and causing chaos in the state.
