A
beautiful young woman has been put in a critical state after her
boyfriend charged at her in the bathroom and stabbed her in the neck.

A model is fighting for her life after her boyfriend allegedly stabbed her in the neck while she was having a bath.
The young lady, Macarena Ardit, 23, is believed to have been stabbed by Mauricio Suligoy, 27, after the couple had an argument.
Suligoy, who has since been arrested on domestic violence charges,
is said to have turned up at Ardit's house in a rage after the couple
rowed on the phone.
Prosecutor Ruben Martinez, who is leading the investigation of the
case, said Suligoy went to confront Ardit at her home after the
argument.
Her friend opened the door to allow Suligoy in to the property and says she saw him leave the house a short time later.
When the friend subsequently went upstairs, she discovered Macarena lying in a pool of blood.
Ardit was rushed to hospital where medics managed to save her life
after emergency surgery lasted several hours. She remains in intensive
care.
Prosecutor Martinez added that "from the beginning we knew who the attacker was" and therefore the police started a search operation to find and arrest him.
Suligoy's father Gustavo is said to have convinced him to deliver
himself to the police. He had been hiding in a rural area in the Vera
department and two days after the attack he gave himself up.
Ardit had only recently taken part as a contestant in the Queen of Surubi beauty contest in the city of Reconquista, Argentina.
